Open the document you want to disconnect from Gardiant by clicking the Edit in Word link (just like you open any Word document from Gardiant). Or, if you have already saved the document to your computer, open it.
Go through File > Info > click on Properties drop-down > select Advanced Properties:
In the next window, go to the Custom tab (1) > click on the Name of each item in the Properties field (2) > Delete (3):
Note: Please make sure that you highlight the information under the Name column. When you see "Gardiant…" highlighted, then click Delete for the entry to be removed. If you click on the information under the other columns, the Delete button will be grayed out.
Once you have deleted all the entries, click OK, and Save As the document to your computer. It is now no longer linked to the Gardiant Word Add-In so you cannot accidentally save information over a document that is on a claim.
