You can initiate a To-Do using the ALT+A hotkey from anywhere (inside or outside a case) in Gardiant Works.
You can use the arrow next to the Case Note button throughout the application to open the drop-down menu and create a To-Do:
The most obvious place where you see the Case Note button is right below the case header, in the top, right-hand corner of the case. From the drop-down opened by the arrow, you can then select the option to create a To-Do:
When you receive RLOG notifications, you can find them under the Claim File Notes sub-tab of the Claim Info tab. You can create a To-Do from the individual claim file notes:
You can also create To-Dos from any contact on a claim. Click on the ellipsis [...] and the drop-down will give you the option to create a To-Do:
Another place to create To-Dos from is on each document under the Documents tab. Highlight the document in question and click on the arrow next to the Case Note button in the document menu:
The next place to create a To-Do from is on the Correspondence tab from the different messages:
Another place that allows you to create a To-Do from is the overview of a case. When you are in My Cases list, if you expand the view of the case by clicking on the down arrow at the beginning of the line, the case overview will open:
If there are contacts on the case (Claimant, Claim Manager, Attending Physician, etc.), you can click on the ellipsis [...] under the contact and select the option to create a To-Do:
