Action Plans

Updated over a year ago

You can manage Action Plans at service level when going through the Admin tab > Action Plans sub-tab:

There are two sections on this tab - the top one for L&I Services, if applicable for your firm; the other for non-L&I Services.

For L&I services, you can Add an Action Plan if one doesn't already exist or Edit an exiting Action Plan.

Note: For L&I services, extension cases are part of the same phase so the templated goals will persist from the main case to the extension case in its currently completed state at the time the extension case is created. To-Dos will only show on the case where they were originally created so they will not move to the extension case.

Please notice the L&I icon that indicates when you are working with an L&I goal. Although these goals do not give the option to be deleted, you can still edit them or add To-Dos:

To create an Action Plan for a non-L&I service, use the +Add Plan button to open the window where you can create goals and To-Dos, and select the services where this plan should be made available on new cases created going forward:

Note: Multiple services can be selected for an action plan on a non-L&I service.

Until an Action Plan is assigned to a non-L&I service, it is essentially in draft mode. Once a service is assigned, it will go live and start being added to newly created cases going forward.

When adding To-Dos, you can do so by clicking on the ellipsis of a particular goal and choosing to Add To-Do or from the right-hand side pane +Add To-Do button:

To-Dos can be attached to a goal or they can be on their own:

Note: If a To-Do is added from a goal, the Firm Goal field on the form auto-populates with that goal.

The drop-down after the "due after" field, allows you to select for the To-Dos to be scheduled by Calendar Days or Business Days (recognizing the same holidays and weekends as when scheduling L&I Progress Reports).

When Assign to Lead VRC box is checked on an Action Plan To-Do, that specific To-Do will always be assigned to the Lead VRC at the time a new case is created. If the box is unchecked, you are given the option to search for one person who will always get assigned that To-Do at the time the case is created no matter who is the Lead VRC:

Selecting an Activity Type on a To-Do makes it the default activity type for that particular To-Do and it cannot be changed when the To-Do is completed on a case.

Important: L&I goals can only be scheduled using Calendar Days since L&I does not take holidays and weekends into consideration, so this field is grayed out on L&I goals:
