A rate schedule is created independently from any particular customer or service and can be associated with any service to which those rates apply. When a service is associated with a customer, cases for that customer can use any of the rate schedules associated with the service.
You can create a new rate schedule from the Admin tab and the Rate Schedules sub-tab by clicking the +Rate Schedule button:
Note: You can add notes to each Rate Schedule and view these notes from the list.
Note 2: The rates showing in this list are the highest rates for any given Rate Schedules. In order to view the additional rates, you need to access the Rate Schedule.
Note 3: If there are activity rates that are different than the general rates, you will see a "Show Activity Rates" link that you can click to be able to view the additional activities:
When creating a new Rate Schedule, you will need to name it, select the Rate Levels (VRC, Intern, Admin), and specify at least one rate for each selected Rate Level. You have options to create Different rates for rate levels, activity-based rates, and Hourly or Flat Rates:

To add more than one activity, click on the +Activity button.
Once a Rate Schedule is created, you have the option to edit as These rates are outdated, These rates were never right, or Deactivate the rate schedule.

From the Rate Schedule, you are also able to edit the Assigned Services:
When editing assigned services (and in other similar selection screens), there are several ways to move items from the available panel to the assigned panel. You can click the Select All(1) button, select items by single clicking on them, or use SHIFT + click to build multiple selections. In order to assign services to the rate schedule, double click individual items, or click on the arrow pointing to the right(2) for multiple selections:
When the selection is made, you can Save(3).
Tip: If you want to select a section of activities, but not all, you can select a service, hold SHIFT, and then select another service.

If you know that a rate schedule should already be on the list and are not able to find it, please use the Inactive radio button to see any rate schedules that have already been deactivated:
*** For a rate schedule to show on the Inactive list, the end date needs to be before today. If the end date is today, the rate schedule will still show on the Active list.
