You can make copies of documents in order to preserve the originals.
When you want to make a copy of a document, highlight the document in question, and click on the Copy button:
You then have the option to rename the document and click the Copy button for the document copy to be created:
The copied document will then show in the Documents list with the same Category/Type of the original document:
The original document remains unchanged and you can now edit the copy.
