[Q&A] Send to Case Missing on Attachments

Q: The Send to Case button is not available in my Outlook if I click on the attachment to see it in the email. The button is there on the main email, but when I click the attachment, the Send to Case button disappears (I have the option to download or "save to one drive", but not to send to case). Can this be fixed?

A: Those who use the web version of Outlook are being affected by some changes that Microsoft is making to their styling and features. In older versions, you could preview the attachment and use Send to Case, but users can no longer do this. This means that Microsoft is updating the web Outlook and removing that feature. Maybe it will come back in the future but this is not within Gardiant Works' control.

You are still able to have the attachment open and use the Send to Case button if you open the attachment instead of previewing it. In order to open the attachment, you can select the option to Download, or you can open it in a separate window:
