Use the Cases report to compare a portfolio of cases across the firm or for a specific Customer, Service, or VRC.
The report shows key measures for each case, including % Fee Cap Remaining, Duration (Days), Last Activity, Next Scheduled Activity (Date and Type), along with Outcome Codes, VRC roles, and budget sub-totals and totals. It includes cases open at any time within the specified date range:
Parameters:
Start Date and End Date (required) limit results to cases that are open during any part of the date range.
Accounts parameter (optional) allows you to narrow results to a specific account or group of accounts. If left showing None Selected, all active and inactive accounts (including internal, administrative accounts) will be included.
^Let me pick inactive accounts^ checkbox determines whether inactive accounts are included in the choices for selection in the Accounts parameter. To see only active accounts, leave the checkbox unchecked (the default selection) and Select All from the Accounts parameter.
Service parameter (optional) allows you to narrow the results to a particular service or services. If left showing None Selected, then all services will be included.
Case Lead (optional) is used to restrict results to billing on cases with a particular VRC or group of VRCs in the Lead VRC role.
^Let me pick inactive Leads^ checkbox (unchecked by default) is used to include inactive VRCs in the Case Lead parameter drop-down. Inactive VRCs will not be included unless this box is checked. To see only active leads, leave the checkbox unchecked and Select All (or a subset of) the leads in the Case Lead parameter.
Case Status (optional) allows you to filter results to a particular case state, either Open, Billing Closed, or Closed.
Rate Schedule (optional) filters results to cases having a particular rate schedule or schedules.
Case Type (optional) filters results to either claim cases or non-claim cases.
Include only cases with these tags... parameter (optional) lets you limit results to cases with a particular tag or tags.
Notes:
Fee Cap represents adjusted current fee cap for the case.
Outcome Codes may be Actual or Recommended. If no Actual Outcome Code exists, Recommended Outcome Code is shown, followed by (R):
