The Billing Summary report shows billing totals for selected customers, services, and VRCs. It is used to get an overview of billing volume across the firm to see how much each customer or service is generating, or to see the volume of services being delivered to a specific customer, or the customers who are being billed for a specific service.
One way to access this report is by going through the Reports tab and the Billing Reports sub-tab:

The total billable charges are by Timekeeper, by Referred VRC, by Customer Account, and by Service (four separate tables which export to a single Excel worksheet).
The Timekeeper VRC and Referred VRC results are broken out by charge type to give a more detailed picture of individual charge patterns:
Parameters:
Start and End Date parameters (required) are applied to filter results to case notes completed within the date range.
Accounts parameter (optional) allows you to narrow results to a specific account or group of accounts. If left showing None Selected, all active and inactive accounts (including internal, administrative accounts) will be included.
^Let me pick inactive accounts^ checkbox determines whether inactive accounts are included in the choices for selection in the Accounts parameter. To see only active accounts, leave the box unchecked (the default selection), and Select all from the Accounts parameter.
Service parameter (optional) allows you to narrow the results to a particular service or services. If left showing None Selected, then all services will be included.
Case Note Status parameter (required) allows you to select only what has been billed (invoiced status), what will be billed (submitted status), what has been completed but is not ready for billing (draft status), or all of the above. Invoiced is the default selection.
Timekeeper VRC parameter (optional) lets you narrow the results to case notes completed by a particular individual or team.If left with None Selected, all users who completed case notes for your cases will be included.
^Let me pick inactive Timekeepers^ checkbox (unchecked by default) is used to include inactive VRCs in the Timekeeper VRC parameter drop-down. Inactive VRCs will not be included unless this box is checked.
Referred VRC parameter (optional) is used to restrict results to those cases referred to a specific VRC or group of VRCs. If left with None Selected, all Referred VRCs will be included.
^Let me pick inactive Referreds^ checkbox (unchecked by default) is used to include inactive VRCs in the Referred VRC parameter drop-down. Inactive VRCs will not be included unless this box is checked.

Grand totals for billing during the period appear below each table (normally all the totals should show the same number).
