[Admin report] Case Invoice

The Case Invoice report is available via the Download link in any of the Case Invoices lists in the Invoice tab; it is not available in the Reports tab.

This report opens in Acrobat as a PDF for printing and email delivery.

Parameters: This report has no user selectable parameters and simply represents in readable, printable format the data stored for that case invoice. That data has already been gathered according to the parameter selections made in the Create Case Invoice pop-up when the invoice was created.

Notes:

  • If it is necessary to edit something in the case invoice on a regular basis for certain clients, Adobe Pro might be a good investment. Or, find free software to convert the PDF to Word and back.

  • Works for both claim and non-claim cases (conditional formatting adapts to the lack of claim information in a non-claim case).

  • The account name in the invoice address, at the top, is the account’s Legal Name. The address is the billing address populated on the Company Info page of the account:

  • If more detail on the billed activity than the standard Activity Description is needed for certain accounts, use the Activity Detail for Invoice field in the Case Note to record this additional detail. (This capability is turned ON by checking the Include Activity Detail in Case Invoices checkbox in the Company Info page for an account. - for more information, see related article at the top of this article):
