Depending on how a service is configured on the administrative side in Gardiant, you may see a button displaying the number of days in the case header:
If you hover over the date button, a tooltip will show the last day of billing that is set up for the case. This allows you to quickly check the cutoff date without additional navigation.
You can click on the button displaying the number of days to edit the date, if necessary:
When the bill cutoff date is within the next 5 days, the indicator in the case header and the v1 Cases list will be orange:
Once the cutoff date has passed, the button will display "0 days" in red, regardless of how many days have elapsed since the cutoff date. This visual indicator helps you easily identify cases where the billing period has ended.
The red indicator can also be seen in the v1 Cases list:
After the cutoff date has passed, a warning message will appear whenever you create a billable task such as a Case Note, To-Do, or Appointment. This warning is intended to remind you that:
It is only a warning and will not prevent you from submitting the task.
Billing submitted after the cutoff date may be denied for payment.
By keeping this in mind, you can manage your billing tasks more effectively and avoid potential issues with payment denials.
