Your L&I QA eligible referrals (VR, AWA, PD, and PI) will be displayed under this tab with a special QA details section at the right showing the current status of engagement and Goals that are relevant for QA elements for that referral type.

In the list view you can easily monitor the QA status of your referrals:

  • Stakeholder engagement: Client, Medical Provider, Employer or Training.

  • Goals relevant for QA:

    • Initial Meeting with Worker, Work Product Complete, and Exit meeting for AWA;

    • Certified Plan Submitted for PD;

    • Option 2 Discussion for PI.

  • Icons that show the status activity-based QA elements that might occur several times during a referral:

    • VR Plan Submission for VR;

    • RTW Discussion for PI.

Here is how to interpret the details:

  • The icon to the left of the bars represent stakeholder groups (Client, Provider, Employer or Training). The four bars represent the four most recent weeks; narrow bars indicate remote engagement, wide bars signify in-person engagement.

  • No color on the engagement icon = there has been no engagement with that stakeholder group during the referral.

mceclip2.png
  • Colored icon but the bars are not filled in = there has been engagement with the stakeholder group during the referral but not in the last 4 weeks.

mceclip3.png
  • The most recent engagement will fill in all the bars for prior weeks with the same type of engagement (remote or in-person), unless a prior contact was in-person, in which case the wider bars will be shown for that and prior weeks.

    • For example, if a direct, in-person contact occurred this week, all four bars will be wide and filled in.

    • If an indirect contact occurred this week and a direct, in-person contact occurred two weeks ago, the top two bars would be narrow and filled in, and the bottom two bars would be wide and filled in.

mceclip6.png
  • Notepad icon has color = a VR Plan has been submitted or re-submitted and a case note with the special activity type designated for VR Plan Submission has been completed; to the right, you can see how long ago it was submitted.

  • RTW icon has color = Return to Work needs have been discussed with worker.

  • The large square icons represent Goals from the action plan designed for that referral type, including the L&I mandated Goals. Goal status is indicated visually:

    • Goal is not filled out and has an orange border = the goal is not completed.

    • Goal is filled out in green = the goal was completed (on time if it has a due date).

    • Goal has an orange clock = the goal is late (if a due date is specified) and an explanation exists.

    • Goals has an orange clock with a red dot = the goal is late without an explanation.

    • Gray goal = the goal was bypassed.

To quickly check the details for the engagement, Goals, and Activity types you're seeing in the list, open the case, and click on the All Tasks button on the Case Home tab. You can then see a summary of engagement and activity types and narrow the results by selecting Engagement, Rate Level or Activity types from the drop-down. You can then take action in the case to correct any oversight by completing Goals, Case Notes, or To-Dos as appropriate:
