[Notes] [Admin] Including Activity Details on Case Invoices

Users with the Edit Configuration permission assigned to their Gardiant Works profile are able to edit their firmโ€™s information through the Admin tab:

*** Please be aware that many of the fields on this page are essential for correct invoicing and CAC integration for the entire firm.*** For example, the billing address affects the CAC integration, billing, and the template tags for all the users in the firm.

One of the items that can be edited from the Firm sub-tab is the option to include activity details on case invoices (not on EDI/L&I invoices). This gives the users the option to enter a description that will show up on the invoice next to the activity code.

You are able to select one of the three options for including activity detail on case invoices: Never, Always, or Let me choose per account:

If you select the option to Let me choose per account, you can individually go in the different accounts through the Accounts tab, Edit Company Info, and check the option to include activity detail:

The Case Notes for the accounts that have this option checked will have the Activity Detail for Invoice field next to the Activity Code:

Note: The Activity Detail for Invoice field has a 150 character limit. If more than 150 characters are entered, you will see the field highlighted in orange and the error advising that the field cannot contain more than 150 characters.

Example:

On a Case Note with the Meeting-Client Activity Code, and โ€œDiscussed injuryโ€ detail:

The following information will be displayed on the invoice:
