Q: How can I edit an L&I billing item for resubmit that is denied and has a service date, professional hours, travel/wait, or mileage?

A: If the edit is to add mileage, travel/wait, or professional hours, you can add a new case note for the appropriate date and it will get picked up as an adjustment. Otherwise, use the manual ("paper") adjustment process, and add a meaningful comment to the denied item.

Do not write it off or resubmit in Gardiant Works. When the manual adjustment is remitted, it will get matched up and moved into the right bucket.
