Use the L&I Invoice Export report to export the data from an L&I invoice into your accounting software.
The L&I Invoice Export report is formatted for export to Excel, which can then be imported to your accounting software. If your accounting software doesn’t accept Excel files for import, a third party application like Transaction Pro may be required to map the Excel file to your accounting software.
Parameters:
Quarter parameter (required) is pre-populated with the most recent yearly quarter. Use the drop-down to select a different quarter/year.
Invoice parameter drop-down displays L&I invoices created during the selected quarter showing the Invoice# and Invoice Date for each one, with the most recent at top.
Notes:
Usually it will be necessary to delete any title rows above the column header row prior to importing the file.
The Item Code is currently hard coded as “1” and may be used to identify the type of item (payment) being imported.
Invoice IDs column combines the invoice#, the invoice item#, and the charge type number (1 = professional hours, 2 = travel/wait hours, 3 = mileage). This is designed to be a unique ID for the billing item that is also present in the L&I Payments Export report so the invoice item can be matched with the payment.
Resubmit/Adjust column is blank unless the item is a resubmission (R) or adjustment (A).
