Updated over a year ago

My Daily Billing report lists your billing total for each day of the specified time period. You can access it from the Reports drop-down on the Dashboard:

This report gives you a summary of your billable Hours, Mileage, and Expenses, with a calculation showing your average daily hours and a stacked bar chart showing each day’s Professional and Travel/Wait hours in white numbers inside each bar:

Professional hours appear in white in the blue part of the bar. Travel/Wait hours appear in white in the red part of the bar:

30 days is the recommended maximum for this report. The chart will become very difficult to read or may not render for longer periods.

Parameters:

  • Start and End Date parameters (required) are applied to filter case notes to what has been completed within the date range. The report runs automatically with a default date range of the most recent two weeks.

  • Accounts parameter (optional) allows you to narrow the results to a specific account or group of accounts. If left showing None Selected, then all active and inactive accounts (including any internal, administrative accounts) will be included in the results.

  • ^Let me pick inactive accounts^ checkbox determines whether inactive accounts are included in the choices for selection in the Accounts parameter. To see only active accounts, leave the checkbox unchecked (the default selection), and Select all from the Accounts parameter.

  • Case Note Status parameter (required) allows you to select only what has been submitted, what has been completed but is not ready for billing (draft status), or both (All, the default selection).

Note: Average daily hours are based on total hours divided by the number of business days in the period, not counting weekends and standard holidays.
