The external users do not have the same view of Gardiant Works as you do because they are only able to review information and not to make any changes to claims.

These users have a view of the Dashboard that shows:

  • a summary chart and a summary table with information about the actual costs, current losses, and claim count of the last 4 plan years,

  • top 5 newest claims,

  • top 5 most recently closed claims.

*Important Note* The claims that are showing on the summary chart and the summary table are only the claims that are in Retro coverage. The claims showing under the Newest Claims and the Most Recently Closed Claims sections of the Dashboard are displaying the top 5 out of ALL the claims, not just the ones in Retro coverage.

From the Dashboard, users can also access the open and closed claims lists, search for a claim if they want to search by the claim number instead of going through the Claims list, and email their Claims Consultant:

If the external user has access to multiple employers, all account managers will be displayed on the reverse side of the Email my Claims Consultants button (click on the button to show the reverse side of the button):

From here, clicking on the Claims Consultant’s name will open a new email message.

On the Claims tab, users can toggle between the lists of all open and closed claims for the selected employer:

In the top, right-hand corner of the Claims tab, users can also type in the claim number for a faster search.

Users can access any of the claims in these lists, but they are not able to make any changes to them.

They are able to view/download the documents on a claim from the Documents tab however they are not allowed to save changes to the documents back in Gardiant:

Note: External users do NOT have access to non-claim cases, such as the account management cases.

From the Claims list, users can also open the expander to get a quick view of the Last Completed Activity and the Next Scheduled Activity for any given claim:

From the Reports tab, external users can open and run the Employer Loss Run (single)/Employer Loss Run (multiple) and Claim Costs and Injuries reports:

External users can see which claims have computer-generated estimates. For more information, please visit the Computer-Generated Estimates article.
