Q: Why do I keep getting claim file notes notifications for a claim that I have closed? How can I stop them?
A: If you are getting notifications when a case/claim is closed, please check to make sure that the case in question is not just Billing Closed. If your case is Billing Closed, you need to completely close the case for the notifications to stop coming in.
In order to close a case in Gardiant Works, go through the Case Info tab, and select the Close Case button:
If you already have the case Billing Closed (it has a Recommended Outcome code and date), you need to also enter an Actual Outcome code and date to completely close the case:
Once the case shows as Closed, you will no longer receive CAC notifications:
