[Notes] Create a Non-Claim Case in Gardiant Works

Updated over a year ago

In order to create a new case in Gardiant Works, go to the Cases tab, click on the +Case button, and choose the option to create a non-claim case:

If the case does not pertain to an insurance claim, select Non-claim. (If you are not sure what type of case to create, please see [Notes] Claim vs. Non-claim Case.)

Each case is associated with a customer account, service, and rate schedule.

Once you select the option to create a non-claim case, the following pop-up window will appear. All areas highlighted in orange are required fields that must be filled out; select a customer account, then one of the services that is already associated with that customer account, then one of the rate schedules that is already associated with the service.

Note: If there is only one service for the customer or one rate schedule available for the service, that service or rate schedule is automatically populated.

Note: In some cases the Service Recipient may be the employer who is requesting work through a TPA (Third Party Administrator). In these cases the TPA is the customer.

You can enter multiple Service Recipients as case contacts once the case is created. For example, each person being given an ergonomic assessment, an employer can be a secondary Service Recipient in the case (the employer is the primary Service Recipient name when the case is created).

The following tabs are available on a non-claim case: Case Home, Contacts, Documents, Correspondence Log, and Case Info. The only document categories available are All and Trash:
