[Q&A] How to add an outcome code to a service

Q: How can I make a certain outcome code available for a case to be closed with that outcome?

A: The first step is to find out what Service is assigned to the case in question by going through the Case Info tab and looking under the Billing Information section:

Once you know what Service is on the case, go through the Admin tab, the Services sub-tab, and click on the service in question:

Go to the Outcomes tab on the Service and click the Edit button:

Highlight the outcome code on the left-hand side of the screen and move it to the right-hand side of the screen either by double clicking on the code or using the arrow at the top of the section with the codes, and then Save:

When you go back to Close the Case through the Case Info tab, you will now see the outcome code both in the Recommended and the Actual Outcome drop-downs:
